July 2016 at the Alamo Drafthouse

This July, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Littleton is diving straight into summer with the Kids Camp series, weekly screenings that are pick-your-price ($1 – $3) with 100% of ticket sales donated to local nonprofits and schools. The series boasts titles including The Boxtrolls, The Neverending Story, Horton Hears a Who! and Babe. Tickets are on sale now at www.drafthouse.com/denver.

In an effort to welcome guests and families living with autism or special needs, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has developed Sensory Friendly screenings. These screenings are similar to Baby Day screenings (for parents with infants) where the lights in the theater are slightly turned up, the sound is turned down, no previews or advertisements are shown and the “no talking” policy is relaxed. Upcoming Sensory Friendly screenings include The BFG, The Secret Life of Pets, Ice Age: Collision Course.

On Monday, July 18, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema welcomes back the Demon Dog of American Literature, James Ellroy, as he presents the original Cape Fear and chats with guests after the screening in Glass Half Full. The following week, director Rachel Talalay will present her cult classic, post-apocalyptic Tank Girl in 35mm. Chef Seth Rexroad created a special three-course dinner with Ska Brewing Co. beer pairings for the event.
