Fun Fact! I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry was originally written by Alexander Payne. The story goes that he wrote it to be like a typical Payne film that is a comedy with a super serious message. Then they cast Sandler and he re-wrote a majority of the film. Where Payne then requested to have his name removed from the project, which the studio refused.
I am also so glad that you guys didn’t hate the film (spoiler for the episode). I saw it and everyone laughed that I was spending money on it. I actually liked it a good amount. It was fun and that is what Chris Columbus films are. It looked like a lot of the cast was having fun with it as well. People are saying this film is the worst or second worst film Sandler has made, but people just like Hating on Sandler because it’s cool now.
